Profile of Mr. E.V Luqman

An innovative and performance-driven entrepreneur, he is a Mechanical Engineer by qualification, holding a B Tech(Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Calicut University, INDIA. A native of Kerala, he has combined technical expertise with strategic business acumen to build a remarkable career in the engineering and construction sectors.

In 1992, he founded Dhafir TechnologiesL.L.C, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Under his visionary leadership and ownership, the company has grown into one of the most prominent EPC(Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors in the UAE. Over the years, the company has successfully worked on critical projects and delivered innovative solutions across the Gulf region, reinforcing its reputation for technical excellence and reliability.

Dhafir Technologies today plays a critical role in executing turnkey projects across a range of sectors, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Utilities, and Aviation. With more than three decades of entrepreneurial and industry experience, he remains a driving force behind the company’s sustained growth, fostering innovation and setting benchmarks for excellence in infrastructure development across the region.

Under the leadership of Mr. Luqman, Dhafir Technologies has earned numerous awards and recognitions, reflecting its commitment to excellence, innovation, and industry leadership.

In addition to his leadership at Dhafir Technologies, he has also played a major role in Skyline Builders Overseas, contributing significantly to its growth and strategic direction in international markets.

Mr. Luqman serves as a Board Member and Director at Avalon Technologies (Listed Companies, under BSE), a Chennai-based company. Avalon is a diversified and leading manufacturing enterprise, offering end-to-end solutions across a broad spectrum of products and services, including PCBA Design & Assembly, Wire Harnesses, Magnetics, Electro-Mechanical Integration, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining, InjectionMoulded Plastics.

In the healthcare sector, Mr. Luqman is the Director of MYHART, a pioneering tertiary cardiac health centre based in Calicut. Established as a specialized facility for advanced cardiac care, MYHART is managed in collaboration with leading cardiac surgeons and physicians from the region.

Beyond his business ventures, Mr. Luqman is a dedicated community leader, actively engaged in promoting education, healthcare, and social welfare in Calicut, Kerala.

He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Farook Institute of Management Studies(FIMS) and as a Management Trustee of the SAFI Institute of AdvancedStudy, two renowned institutions committed to academic excellence and holistic development.

Through these leadership roles, Mr. Luqman plays a vital part in shaping educational initiatives, supporting research, and fostering opportunities for the next generation. He also serves as the Vice President ofJDT Islam, one of the oldest and most respected educational and charitable institutions in the region. In this capacity, he actively contributes to the organization’s mission of providing inclusive, value-based education and social services to underprivileged communities. Additionally, Mr. Luqman holds prominent positions in several other institutions, including the Rouzathul Uloom Association (RUA)—the parent body of the Farook Group of Institutions at Farook College, Feroke—IQRAA Hospital, Sadbhavana World School, and the Halcyon Dialysis Centre.
